Christian Mothers
St. Frances Cabrini Confraternity of Christian Mothers unites all adult women of the parish in religious education, cultural and social activities. Our goal is to incite charity, love of neighbor and appreciation of all fellow members and advance the spiritual and temporal welfare of the entire parish by promoting activities for the benefit of the parish and all its members. The C.M. organization has made major financial contributions to the parish. General Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of September, October, November, March, and April following the 7 pm Novena Mass (7:45 if there is no Mass). Special Events include Christmas Dinner, President's Dinner, a Spring Day of Recollection, and wake prayer services for deceased women of the parish. Our service to the community includes the sponsorship of a child from Guatamala, sponsorship and preparation of the High School Graduation breakfast, refreshments following Confirmation, dessert for Meals on Wheels, Bingo with residents of Friendship Ridge, Merchandise Bingo, a parish fundraiser held the third Monday of each month, and extra special Christmas gifts prepared and given to parish homebound. WE ARE TIRELESS! (We are actually getting tired and need your help.) We gather the 3rd Sunday of every month to celebrate together the 8 am Mass. A bulletin board for Christian Mothers is in the entranceway of the Church. Committees include the Altar Ladies (see additional page), Door Prizes, Hostess, Membership, Mission, Nomination, Program, Publicity, Cards (sympathy for all parish deceased, new baby for parish baptized), Spiritual, Telephone, Oplatki sale, and Ways and Means. All women of the parish are considered members and we encourage you to be involved.
