The food bank is a ministry through which parishioners
serve the people of our community who are in need.
The food bank is open for families in need on the third Thursday of every month from 6 pm to 7 pm. Families receiving aid must complete a confidential application and have proof of need. Application can be picked up at the rectory, or will be mailed by calling the rectory.
Food (non perishable) can be dropped off in the food bank donation barrel in the Church entrance. The only items that should be left are:
- Cereal
- Crackers
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Canned Corn and Green Beans
- Canned Pork and Beans
GUIDELINES FOR FOOD BANK RECIPIENTS
- A Person seeking our help must be a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church or a person living within Center Township not affiliated with any Church.
- All Persons must meet the following Income Guidelines:

- All Persons must complete application and must present proof of:
RESIDENCY INCOME NUMBER OF DEPENDENTS
Proof may be in the form of a DPA Card, Unemployment Card, Income Tax Statement, Letter of Determination from Social Security or S.S.I., or copy of Pay Stub.
CONFIDENTIALITY: The information you provide will be treated confidentially and will be used only to determine eligibility and to verify information.
- All Persons coming to the Food Bank will be issued an Identification Card. This Card must be presented on Food Bank Day. Without the Card, Food Bank Workers will not be allowed to give out food. All Persons picking up food must be 18 years of age or older and be a member of the Family.
- If you miss two consecutive months without notification, your name will be taken off the Food Bank Roster, and you will need to complete another application.
- All applications will be reviewed yearly.
- People who do not meet eligibility guidelines but are in need, must see Rev. Joseph J. Kleppner, Pastor, who will review each case.
- If there is an emergency and food is needed other than the regular night of distribution, you must contact Rev. Joseph J. Kleppner, Pastor.
