The Holy Name Society promotes the honor and glory of our Divine God and the personal sanctification of its members by acts of love and devotion to the most Holy Name of Jesus. The spirited life of its members is a perpetual act of reverence and love.

Our members perform the Corporal Works of Mercy: to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, give drink to the thirsty, shelter to the homeless, tend the sick, visit those in prison, and bury the dead; as well as the Spiritual Works of Mercy: to convert sinners, instruct the ignorant, counsel the wayward, comfort the sorrowing, bear adversity patiently, forgive offenses, and pray for the living and the dead on a parochial, diocesan and national level.

The Holy Name Society promotes respect for the most Holy Name of God, faith in the Catholic Church and the Magisterium, loyalty to one's country and respect for all lawful authority both civil and religious.

The St. Frances Cabrini Holy Name Society meets following the 8 am Mass the second Sunday of every month. Members volunteer with the food bank on the third Thursday of each month. We pack groceries after the 8:30 Mass and help distribute at 5:30.

The St. Frances Cabrini Holy Name has a strong commitment to family. We sponsor the Family Breakfast on the last Sunday in August after the 8 am Mass and the Parish Picnic on Labor Day weekend.

We sponsor and work the Blood Drives twice a year in the Spring and Fall. Men from Holy Name attend and lead the prayers at the wake services for all deceased men of the parish.

We nominate one outstanding youth from our parish for recognition by the Holy Name Society at a deanery breakfast in October. We also nominate outstanding men of our parish for recognition by the Holy Name Society at a deanery banquet in April.

The Holy Name invites all men of the parish to volunteer with this worthwhile organization in any way your talents and time allow.
