Religious Education
Catechesis imparts the doctrine of the faith in a systematic way with the view of making disciples of all people. Parents, catechists and the whole church community are responsible for this task. Religious Education/CCD is important for children to learn about our Catholic faith and gain knowledge about what we believe. St. Frances Cabrini Parish offers Religious Education/CCD classes for children, kindergarden through eighth grade. Religious Education/ CCD Classes meet during the school year, beginning in September and ending in May. Volunteers are needed as catechists, team-teachers, aides, substitutes, office volunteers and special topic teachers (that rotate from classroom to classroom to teach Liturgy, Vocations, Catholic Vision of Love or Opening Doors Curriculum). Other Programs include:
Religious Education/CCD news is publishes a bi-monthly newsletter and also publishes special events in the bulletin. The parish bulletin is available online.
